The time is now to address the senate, who are now tasked with reviewing and voting on whether Bill C-11 becomes law.
For those who don’t know what Bill C-11 is and why this is a big deal, it’s the bill being put forward by the liberals to control what citizens will and won’t see online. This includes your own personal social media news feeds. Just another way the government is going to hide the truth from you. It’s a massive assault on freedom of expression.
This means that we really need to speak up and voice our concerns to our senators. Every email and phone call counts.
To make it easy to voice your opinion, we are attaching the campaign that Open Media has been circulating - this makes it easy to send concerns about Bill C-11 to the senate as once you enter your address, the senators that represent you are automatically populated and they have created a letter outlining the biggest concerns with Bill C-11. They have also included further information about the bill if you want to understand it better.
